Revolution: Toyota Prius Planter
I did 2 or 3 days on the pilot/first-episode of the NBC series “Revolution” creating freehand set design illustrations for production designer Zack Grobler to hand off to construction coordinator Tony Kupersmith, to help the construction crew understand Zack’s post-apocalyptic construction style using “found” materials.
One visual element from the first episode, which has been noted by fans and reviewers alike, was a Toyota Prius that had been stripped down and converted into a garden planter. I can’t remember if this element was scripted or a visual contribution by the production designer Zack Grobler (who requested that I produce this sketch).
